For the past two weeks or so, we’ve been having a heat wave. The temperature in Puerto Rico is usually around 75-90 degrees. But with the heat wave, it has been around 100-105 degrees. I don’t like heat, I sweat a lot and that puts me in a really bad mood. Also, I have miliaria, a skin condition that primarily affects my legs, which is usually caused by hot and humid weather conditions. I’ve managed to deal with this heat the best way I can, but that can’t stop me from complaining, it’s that bad.
If I was rich, I would have the AC on all day. I usually turn it on at about 11pm or so and turn it off as soon as I wake up, which is usually at 6:30am. This past week, I’ve been turning it on at 8:30-9:00pm with my parent’s permission. I don’t like to take advantage of the AC and use it too much because electricity in PR is so expensive.
I just hope this heat wave ends as soon as possible, for my sanity, I will probably go crazy if this keeps up.Related posts:
