Ipsy Glam Bag

If you follow me on Twitter, you might have noticed some of my tweets saying how I’m getting more into makeup and nail polish recently. I’ve always preferred being ‘natural’ when it comes to makeup and I rarely wear it unless there’s a special occasion. Well, since I’m a part of some community organizations, I have to attend more events and this has made me want to do my makeup more.

I don’t really go too crazy with my makeup, I wear the essentials. Eyeliner, eye shadow, foundation, powder, mascara, the works. Since I don’t have a lot of makeup, I decided to find something that could work for my needs. That’s when I found Ipsy, a beauty community where users can add their own ‘looks’ and videos. They also offer the Ipsy Glam Bag, which is a a monthly subscription service where they send you deluxe samples and full-sized beauty products selected by Ipsy’s team of Stylists. Most of the stylists are popular beauty bloggers/vloggers like Michelle Phan (the founder of Ipsy, by the way) and Bethany Mota.

Ipsy

The Glam Bag is only $10 a month and you can cancel it at any time. I really can’t complain about the prize because most beauty products at the stores are usually around $10 each, so for $10 a month I can get a few products I can try out.

I am definitely excited to start receiving some of the glam bags, and will probably do a blog/vlog about each one.

Are you subscribed to the Ipsy Glam Bag? What has been your favorite one?

I am into the natural look as well. IMO, it looks better than wearing make up most of the time.

I've been wanting to try a beauty subscription service, and I'm definitely into the natural look as well. The ironic thing is that I'm probably thinking of a different natural look than you are...mine requires a bit more makeup than just the basics. But I'll be sure to check out Ipsy. :)
