Museum Love

I’ve always been interested in culture and history. The Ancient Civilizations are my favorite, I find them fascinating especially when it comes to their respective mythologies. Their art, architecture, calendars, religion, economy, everything was amazing.

These civilizations left a legacy all around us: the beautiful and “perfect” pyramid structures we see in Egypt, the mausoleums we see all around the world (Taj Mahal, Habib Bourguiba, Augustus’ Mausoleum, and others), necropoles, sculptures, and many other wonders. Museums offer some of these amazing things to the general public, and it’s something that really interests me when I travel, to be able to visit museums and witness bits of history within those spectacles.

I’ve been to some exhibitions and local museums but I haven’t been able to see all there is to see, that’s why I plan on traveling within the next few years to a few museums that interest me.

The top five museums I want to go to:

The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, New York

Musée du Louvre in Paris, France

The Egyptian Museum in Cairo, Egypt

The British Museum in London, England, United Kingdom

National Gallery of Art in Washington DC, United States

Have you been to a museum? If so, which one?

I've been to museums here in Arkansas, but other than that I haven't been to any others. I definitely wouldn't mind visiting some of the ones on your list if not all of them, I imagine they're all very beautiful.
