February 2014 Loot Crate Unboxing

February 2014 Loot Crate Unboxing

I received the February Loot Crate on Tuesday and took advantage of my fiancé’s home studio to record it (like last month’s video), he recently bought better lighting so I’m extremely happy about how the video quality turned out.

Before filming the unboxing, all I knew about the crate was that this month’s theme was ‘Warriors’ and we were going to get a t-shirt. I was pretty excited when opening the contents of the box, most of the brands or subjects were unknown to me which makes it more fun to have stuff you didn’t know about.

Making these videos have also been helpful with me getting over my shyness in front of the camera. I need to learn to keep talking and have more interaction but I’m learning as I go. Hopefully next month’s video will be better.

I am definitely looking forward for next month’s box and from what I read on Twitter, we’re supposed to get a t-shirt with the March crate as well, so that’s a plus!

  1. I like the idea of shirts being included in boxes as most decently made shirts are $20 so you get your moneys worth. My only issue with it is that they tend to be one size and the one you showed looks really big so I wouldn’t be able to wear it :(.

    1. Actually, you set your t-shirt size when you subscribe to Loot Crate, I set mine as XL because of my breasts, I don’t like the t-shirt to be too tight but the fit was pretty accurate. The good thing about the t-shirts is that you can change the size at any time. Now that I’m consistently losing weight, that might come in handy in the future :)

  2. Nice video. While it’s nice to have you in the shot I think for unboxings, the main focus is the products so maybe do like a short intro and then use a 50mm lens to showcase the product and then you can do a conclusion shot and piece it together. Just a suggestion for the future. :)

    1. Thanks Angie. I appreciate the suggestion, that’s something I’ve been thinking about doing since I already have a 50mm lens. I’m still figuring out as I go and will keep modifying the way I do those videos until I’m 100% happy with them :)
