Hosting Upgrade Blues

I haven’t been blogging for the past few days because all my sites have been moving around back and forth. I ordered a VPS so I could have a separate cPanel for each domain I’m hosting. I was being a bit ambitious with that because I could pay the $55 monthly, but it would cause difficulty for me budget-wise. I ended up cancelling it, the whole configuration process was a problem because it would give me so many errors and I realized I was being way too ambitious for that right now. I upgraded my hosting account to the most expensive shared package, which has a private IP and guaranteed 100% uptime. That should work for now, I will probably get a VPS eventually when I’m actually able to afford it without any problems.

Even though this whole process was a little crazy, I have to appreciate the excellent SurpassHosting customer support. I’ve been with them since 2004 and their awesome support is one thing that has kept me with them all this time. I will always recommend them.

  1. I have a reseller, but most of the time, I have no clue what I am doing. When it comes to all of that technical stuff, I am totally not savy. I cannot blame you for wanting to stay simple. :P

    1. Yeah, sometimes simple is better. I plan on upgrading eventually, but for now I’m good. I don’t have the patience to deal with that kind of stuff right now.
