Astro Bears Party: Fun Snake-like game

As you may know from my last post, my husband Juan and I revived our Youtube channel and are posting a video every week. Our main focus for the channel is to cover games we can play cooperatively, either through local or online co-op. One game we got a few months ago through a Nintendo eShop sale was Astro Bears Party.

Astro Bears Party is a competitive party game. The goal is to run around the planet and avoid each other’s lines/ribbons. You have a jetpack that can be useful for jumping and hovering. If you’ve played Snake on your phone before smartphones, existed, this game definitely had some inspiration from it.

This game is perfect for short gaming sessions as each game stage is over relatively quickly, but that doesn’t make it any less fun. It’s an entertaining way to kill the time, and the fact that you can play either individually or with up to 3 more players is a great feature to have.

Check out our video where Juan and I go head to head in this game!

Unruly Heroes: Great Co-op Game

Playing video games is one of my favorite things to do. One thing I love even more? Being able to play with my husband. That’s why we’re always looking for good couch co-op or multiplayer games that we can enjoy.

Recently, Juan and I decided to revive our Press Pause youtube channel and are now creating content based on games and things we can do together. Our latest video covers Unruly Heroes, an action adventure game that can be played with up to four people. It is inspired by the Chinese legend: “A Journey to the West”.

While playing it, I was enamored by the beautiful environment and range of colors (a lot of yellow, red and green tones). It reminds you of titles like Trine and Rayman Origins. Gameplay felt very fluid and the variety between the characters abilities were great. We used controllers when playing and movement felt great while using them. The story/campaign is local only, while the PVP mode has both local and online. We still haven’t tried the PVP mode but I hope we’ll be able to very soon!

We made a video playing the first level of the game, check it out if you can.

Question Time:

What are some of your favorite video games that have co-op and/or multiplayer?
