I really enjoy watching TV series. I do have to admit that my backlog has grown exponentially during the past few years. I like to watch a little bit of everything, which ends up being overwhelming where there are more than 10 series I’m watching at the same time. It doesn’t help that I’m subscribed to a few services like Netflix, Hulu, Starz and HBO Now. So there are a lot of things to watch, and so little time.
Decided to write a list of things I’m watching, hoping it will give me accountability to actually finish them and also have my watch list record easily accessible.
Game of Thrones: Season 8
Status: Currently watching
This series is a phenomenon. I’ve been watching since it began in 2011 and it’s definitely an experience every Sunday when watching the episodes. I make a little cheese platter and a glass of wine, and I’m set. This Sunday, the series comes to an end. Even though Season 8 has been controversial, I’ve been enjoying it and it’s going to be very bittersweet when there’s no more episodes to watch.
They are releasing a two-hour documentary the Sunday after the series ends and I can’t wait to watch it.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine: Season 6
Status: Currently watching
This is one of my favorite shows to watch with my husband. We have a rule: we’re not allowed to watch an episode by ourselves. This show is so much fun, always makes us laugh and we LOVE all the characters. The fact that episodes are 30 minutes really help as well.
Captain Holt is the greatest of all time. Fact.
Santa Clarita Diet: Season 1

We recently started watching this. We were looking for another comedy show to watch and this was recommended a lot. We are 6 episodes in and I’m really enjoying it so far.
The insane amount of gore is one of my favorite things about this show. Will definitely keep watching, even though I found out that the series has been cancelled by Netflix. Why do you do this Netflix?
The Spanish Princess

This show begun two weeks ago. As a fan of The White Queen and The White Princess, when they announced this follow-up show I was really excited. There’s something about period dramas that I just love. This show follows the story of Catherine of Aragon, who travels to England to marry the heir of the English throne, Arthur Tudor.
Killing Eve: Season 2
Status: Currently watching
When I watched Season 1 of Killing Eve, I was captivated by the acting and the thrill this show brings you. Having already known Sandra Oh from Grey’s Anatomy and Jodie Comer from The White Princess, I had high hopes before watching the first episode. Sandra and Jodie are absolutely phenomenal playing their roles.
If you like drama and thrillers, this show is for you.
Legacies
Status: Watched
I’ve always liked stories that involve vampires, werewolves and magical beings. It’s no surprise that I watched The Vampire Diaries and later The Originals. This show is a spin-off from both shows and we see many familiar faces. It’s an interesting take watching the different characters deal with their own powers while attending a school for the supernatural and defending themselves against magical threats that could destroy them.
I binged watched Season 1 in a few days, and looking forward to see what they come up with when Season 2 comes out.
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: Season 2
Status: Watched
I watched the first episode of Season 1 when it came out and I was instantly hooked. I watched the season in 2 days and left me wanting more. Was very happy when they announced that Season 2 was coming and immediately watched it once it came out last month. I read that they are filming Season 3 right now, so even though we’ll have to wait a while, I’m excited for more!
