Today I’m going to mention some of My Favorite Things from this month. This is a monthly link up created by Raisa and Eirene, where we talk about our favorite things (movies, games, books, you name it!) from the current or past month.
Television

Stranger Things[/caption]
I haven’t felt this way about a television series in a long time. I fell in love with this series and I am incredibly excited that they officially announced that it has been renewed for a second season. The first season is only eight episodes, and I enjoyed every bit of it. If you have a Netflix subscription, please do yourself a favor and watch it. I’m pretty sure you won’t regret it.
Gaming

Far Cry 3[/caption]
This year, I’ve been participating in a Summer Backlog Challenge. The goal is to set an amount you want to complete during the summer and try to reach the goal. This challenge begun on June 1 and will end on September 30. I’ve already completed 11 games and Far Cry 3 was the last game I finished. I really enjoyed playing it. I love open-world games, and I definitely had fun in this one.
My husband heard about this game from a podcast and we got it when it came out (it was on sale, always a plus!). This game is so fun and addicting! It only has local co-op for now, so we’ve been enjoying sitting in our living room and playing together. It gets harder and harder as you keep finishing levels. We are currently on “world” five if I’m not mistaken. Hopefully we can play some more this weekend!
This game was part of Playstation Plus’ Free Games this month. The game is so much fun. Think Tetris, but with gravity and magic! It supports multiplayer and there can be up to 4 players in a round. This game is perfect to play with friends. It can get very frustrating and bring out your inner rage, but it’s part of the fun.
Reading
I love reading, but I stopped for a very long time after I got married and worked on getting our home organized. Reading is an anxiety therapy for me so I knew I needed to start reading again. When I stopped, I was halfway through Looking for Alaska by John Green. I’m working on finishing that one and then continue reading some of his other novels (I have one of his collections).
I still have The Maze Runner series unopened, so that’s also on my to-read list. If you have a Goodreads profile, feel free to follow me. Will be updating my profile within the next few days.
Software
I recently got Adobe Creative Cloud and I’m loving all the new features. I mainly use Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere Pro, but definitely want to test out the other programs that are part of the CC collection.
What are are some of the things you’ve been loving this month? Let me know in the comments!
